Positano is on the eastern coast of Italy in the region of Naples and Pompeii, Italy. You can travel further down to Amalfi, Italy. En route from Naples is the lovely Sorrento and across from the Positano coast is the island of Capri. We stayed in a little village of Priano a few miles down the coast to Positano and loved the daily life of riding the bus to Positano to go to the beach and down the coast to the remarkable gardens in Amalfi—VILLA CIMBRONE, RAVELLO.
