To me this is one of my happiest of my floral paintings. It evokes walking up and smelling pancakes and coffee brewing. There is the sunny feeling of the yellow lemons with a pitcher of maple syrup and pancakes cooking and laughter and it is definitely the weekend. Could a relaxing day be ahead too?
